I had read a bunch of these whiny reviews before purchasing these drums for my 5 year old son for his birthday figuring my "gearhead" hubby may run into a bit of trouble putting them together. He had them together in 25 minutes and ready to rock. I must say that the downfalls are that 1. They do not put any directions in the box. so make sure you print off a picture to look at. and 2. We had no clue how tight to make the drum heads with the key. Other than that, the peices really only fit together one way. We ended up getting a DeRosa set where I had read that some people did not get that brand. My 5 and 3 year old boys love to rock out the drums and they seem to be taking the beating quite well.

We purchased this drum set for our 3 year old wannabe Rock Star. He LOVES it...and Mommy and Daddy LOVE the quality of it! He has hours of fun "rocking out" on it with his microphone pulled up next to him so he can sing and drum at the same time. This set is deff better quality then the 1st Act stuff we saw at Toys R Us. We are glad we held out and found this set on Amazon. I think he will enjoy this set for a LONG time!

I was looking for a "real" drum set for my 3 yr old and most found overpriced plastic garbage with poor reviews. This set is awesome, easy to set up, and my son hasn't stopped playing it. Great vendor to buy from too!! Can't go wrong!!
