I have played on Zildjian products (not too exciting), other Sabians (AA's). HHX tops them all. The ride has a nice crisp dry ping on the bell, and a textured washy sound on the rest. The high hats are stunning. The O-Zone is like a washy crash, and has a very distinct sound. My favorite cymbal though is the crash. Its dark, expressive, and competes directly with Zildjian's "K" line. Get these cymbals and you will not be disappointed. |
