The mesh heads have great rebound. The entire kit doesn't feel fragile at all, and you can play around feeling like you would any other acoustic set. Picture a great sounding drum kit with a volume knob. The auxiliary input let's you plug in your MP3 player, or phone, and play along with the music. Best of all, my neighbors don't hear a thing. With the 25 loaded kit sounds, you can play just about any genre of music. Plenty of advanced options for drum dynamics (head tuning, muffling, reverb) for the people that like tweaking things.
